Welcome Meetings Year 1-6 2024
Dear Parents, Carers, and Members of our School Community,
I hope this newsletter finds you well and in good spirits as we embark on another exciting academic year at Newall Green
Primary School. It's my pleasure to extend a warm welcome back to all our pupils, families, and staff after what I trust was a
refreshing and enjoyable summer break.
As we step into this new term, I'm filled with a sense of enthusiasm and optimism. It's been absolutely wonderful to see our
school corridors and classrooms come alive once again with the energy and excitement of our pupils. I must say, I've been
thoroughly impressed by how smart everyone looks in their uniforms. The pride our children take in their appearance is a
testament to the respect they have for themselves and our school community.
One of the most heartening aspects of this new term has been observing how well our pupils have settled into their new
classes. The transition to a new academic year can sometimes be a bit daunting, but I'm delighted to report that our children
have taken it all in their stride. They've adapted remarkably well to their new surroundings and have been eager to engage
with their learning.
It's been particularly gratifying to see the positive interactions between our pupils and their new teachers. The rapport that's
already developing in these early days bodes well for a productive and enjoyable year ahead. Our teachers have been
working tirelessly to create welcoming and stimulating learning environments, and it's clear that their efforts are paying off.
As we move forward, I'm excited about the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. We have a year full of learning,
growth, and discovery ahead of us, and I'm confident that together, we will make it a memorable and successful one.
We would like to invite you to come along to a short welcome meeting. The purpose of these meetings is to show you a
brief outline of the kind of things that the children will be doing during their new school year. These meetings are very
informative and will tell you all you need to know to help and support your child.
All meetings will be held in the key Stage 1 hall at 9am on the following days.
* Monday 16th September - Year 6
* Tuesday 17th September - Year 4
* Wednesday 18th September - Year 5
* Thursday 19th September - Year 3
* Friday 20th September - Year 2
* Monday 23rd September - Year 1
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support and partnership in your children's education.
Your involvement is crucial to their success, and we deeply appreciate the trust you place in us.
As always, if you have any questions, concerns, or simply wish to discuss your child's progress, please don't hesitate to reach
out. Our doors are always open, and we value open communication with our school community.
Here's to a fantastic year ahead, filled with achievements, learning, and plenty of reasons to celebrate!
