Welcome to Year 6!
Hello everyone and welcome to Year 6 with Miss Jones (6HJ), Mr Moore (6JM) and Miss Evans (6LE)
We have a very busy Summer Term ahead of us as your children enjoy their last weeks of Primary School and start preparing for High School in September.
SATS week begins on Monday 12th May and after this we have many exciting topics to explore with the children. We will be turning the children into chefs in Design and Technology as we make burgers and developing programmers of the future in ICT as we begin our coding topic. After SATS, we will be looking at money in the real world in maths and the children will complete a project in groups trying to turn £5 into as much money as they can to raise money for our school. At the end of the Summer term, we have our production, leavers prom and leavers assembly to look forward to, as well as a trip to Gulliver's World as a behaviour reward trip. The children will also have their transition to High School day in July and we will begin preparing them for September with lots of transition focused lessons.
