Charity Champions

Over the past year our Charity Champions have worked tirelessly raising money for Woodhouse Park Family Centre. We have just received this amazing email and wanted to share it with you.

A great big WELL DONE to all our Charity Champions!!

"I would just like to take this opportunity to say a very heartfelt thank you and congratulations to Amanda and her student team of charity champions who have been raising money for our Centre over the last few months. The money they have raised will help towards our work supporting vulnerable children and families. Donations such as these, especially from children at a local school, are absolutely invaluable to us as a small charity, not only financially but also in showing that the work we do is valued by our local community.

I was lucky enough to meet them earlier this year and they were a really lovely group of children who were very interested in the work we do in their local community and asked some fantastic questions about what we did and how they could help. They are an absolute credit to the school. Please pass on our sincere thanks to them all and thank you to you for allowing them the opportunity, hopefully helping to create the community heroes of the future.
