DISABILITY & INCLUSIVE TAG RUGBY - Sale Sharks

Down Syndrome rugby sessions are held every other Sunday at Sharks’ Carrington training ground.

Sale Sharks want everyone to feel like they have the opportunity to play rugby, we’re a one team club and want everyone to feel part of this fearless family. The sport has a number of key features such as building confidence, resilience and helping mental wellbeing.

Diversity & inclusive tag rugby is a non-contact version of the game so children and young people with disabilities and additional needs to learn the basics of rugby and make some great friends along the way. Sessions are free to attend and there are a wide range of ages from 5-22. We want everyone to feel part of this growing rugby community. We love our sharks fans.
