Thursday 14th June 2018 marks the one year anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire disaster where 71 people lost their lives.

#GREEN FOR GRENFELL  is designed to celebrate a spirit of unity and collaboration.      Different community events will reflect how the community around the tower, and all over the UK, came together to help after the tragedy last year.

Schools across the country will be celebrating the spirit of people coming together in the aftermath of the tragic event and Newall Green Primary will be showing their support too.

There will be a minutes silence at 12 noon on Thursday 14th June, and we are asking all the children and staff to wear GREEN on FRIDAY 15th JUNE (children do not have to wear uniform on this day and there is no charge).

Children will also take part in various outdoor learning activities  throughout the day.

Please join us in supporting this very worthy cause.

Thank you.
